摘要 | Flash radiotherapy technology could significantly improve the way radiotherapy is delivered by producing much higher dose rate in much shorter irradiation time. But all existing cyclotrons could hardly meet clinical or experimental requirements. Besides, the future requirements for ultra-high dose rate is not clearly revealed nowadays. Therefore, our task is to increase the cyclotron beam intensity as much as possible by utilizing external injection system. Physical design of injection line and simulations are performed with the code DONS. Simulation results show more than twenty times increase of dose rate can be achieved. |
