AbstractThe working condition of circulating pump is more complex, which requires the motor to have better control ability. Based on the analysis of two different control strategies of sine and square wave drive, the effect of the two driving modes on the performance of PMCM (permanent magnet canned motor) is studied. The mathe-matical model of PMCM under two control strategies is established, and the control mode of the motor is analyzed. The finite element analysis model of the motor is established, and the motor performance under the two control strategies is simulated. When driven by square wave, the motor efficiency is higher. When driven by sine wave, the torque ripple of the motor is small. It has certain engineering application value to design the control mode of permanent magnet canned motor in different applications.
