LD pumped 1347 nm laser with a novel Nd:GdNbO4 crystal

摘要A diode-pumped 1347 inn laser with a novel Nd:GdNbO4 crystal is demonstrated for the first time to our best knowledge. Laser performance around 1.3 mu m under 879 nm laser diode pumping is investigated with different output mirrors, pump radii and repetition rates. A maximum average power of similar to 373 mW at 1347 nm is achieved at 50 Hz, corresponding to an optical-to-optical efficiency of 5.5% and a slope efficiency of 6.8%.
