摘要 | Both internal friction and dielectric relaxation techniques were applied to investigate the novel oxide-ion conductors La(2-x)A(x)Mo(2)O(9) (A=Ca, Bi, K; x=0-0.3). Two relaxation peaks associated with the short-distance diffusion of oxygen ions were observed on the curves of internal friction and dielectric loss versus temperature, indicating that there are at least two relaxation processes for oxygen ion diffusion. After doping La2Mo2O9 with different elements, both relaxation peaks shift toward higher temperature and the activation energy of oxygen ion diffusion increases, the height of the higher-temperature peak decreases while that of the lower-temperature peak increases slightly. After properly doping (e.g. 30%Ca, 5%Bi, or 5%K doping), the conductivity of doped La2Mo2O9 at low temperature increases in different degrees. Based on the experimental results and the crystalline structure, a physical picture for oxygen vacancy diffusion in La(2-x)A(x)Mo(2)O(9) samples is suggested. |
